“Never doubt yourself; it will only hold you back.” J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan
Today I read a book The Shy Butterfly by my friend Penny L Howe, she is one of those beautiful souls that I have met through the blogosphere, and she is very talented and is an inspiration to me. For a long time I wanted to read this book, but I am the biggest procrastinator in the world, I am glad I read this book today is simply beautiful…
The Shy Butterfly is an inspirational children’s book with a story that can be equally valuable to adults as it is to children, for me it was like reading a long beautiful poem with a timeless lesson about a Shy Butterfly who hides in the shadows of a forest, too afraid to come out into the light of day, until he meets a Monarch butterfly who encourages him to be brave.
The story is well written mixed with beautiful illustrations by Debbie Edwards, they both do an amazing job to carry this story through both the visual and the storytelling; children and adults would want to read this book many times. I personally love the book, it was just what I needed today, it uplift my soul and yes, I cried, the book has sentimental value to the author (if you been following her blog you know why) and it made it more special for me. I can not wait to read this story to my nieces and nephews, and I know they will love this book.
I encourage to read this book you will not be disappointed please go check it out at…
